Who we are
Jane Wylie - Senior Careers Adviser
Sue White & Sarah Nicholson - Careers Advisers
Jane, Sue and Sarah are available for confidential, one-to-one guidance appointments, mock interviews etc and also run careers workshops.
Rachel Lindan - Careers Information Officer
Rachel manages the careers information and resources both in paper and electronic format, ensuring that all such information is comprehensive, up to date and covers the range of interests requested by students. Rachel is also responsible for aspects of office management to ensure the smooth running of daily activities. Provides diagnostic advice, answering e-guidance queries and liaising with employers to source suitable vacancies. Assists with workshop planning, preparation and delivery and also key organiser of the BSU Careers Fair.
Helen Knight - Careers Information Assistant
Helen is the first point of contact for students, staff and public enquiries to the Careers Service, providing access to guidance appointments and assisting service users in the use of resources.
Juliet Pearson - Job Shop Co-ordinator &
Joanne Mitchell - Job shop Assistant
Juliet manages the day to day running of the Jobshop, assisted by Jo, regularly liaising with employers to generate job vacancies, and also providing a point of contact for students seeking part time and vacation work. To find out more about the Jobshop and to register online click here.
